These narrations clearly say that Imam Ali(as) will fight on interpretation of Quran after the Holy Prophet(pbuh). We know already that the Holy Prophet declared about Imam Ali that “Ali is from me and I am from Ali, he is responsible to carry my message (hadith e Ghadir), No one can convey on my behalf except myself or Ali.” We also know this bitter reality who fought with Imam Ali and unfortunately thousands of people got killed!
English Translation
Abu Dhar narrated:
The Holy Prophet said “Banu Wakiah(an arab pagan tribe) should restrain from their activities otherwise surely I would send a respectable person to them who is same like me who will bring my order in front of them, anybody who will fight with him he will kill them and he will make their children prisoners.
Then Umar bin Katab put his hand on my back I got attentive. Umar said “Oh Prophet who is that person?” The Holy Prophet said “Neither you nor your friend”. Then again Umar asked “Then who is that person?” The Prophet said “I mean that person who is repairing the shoes, this was Ali who was repairing the shoes”.

Abu Saeed Khudri narrated:
We were waiting for the Prophet, the Prophet came there. In fact, prophet’s shoes lace was broken. Prophet gave the shoes to Ali and said “The person among you will surely fight on the interpretation of Quran.” Abu Bakar asked “Am I that person?” the prophet said “No.”. Umar bin Katab asked “Am I that person?” the prophet said “No.” Then prophet said “he is the one who is repairing the shoes.”
